Description

Photo taken by me. The egg was removed from a Senegal parrot nesting box after an egg check at about 5 days after laying. This egg was broken by the parents and the egg was removed in case this broken egg infected the remaining healthy egg. The cracked area is on the far side of the egg not seen in the picture. The hen Senegal parrot continued to incubate the remaining egg in the nesting box.
