The subject is clearly notable, Semra Ülkü is the former president of the İzmir Institute of Technology. Iytenet (talk) 12:59, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't believe that simply being the president of an Institute of technology is sufficent enough to be classed as notable, if the person has done notable things in order to become president, possibly. But these things are not established in the article. Printer222 (talk) 13:09, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
