So, are there any other items of interest in Selborne other than Gilbert White? This article reads almost as if it is a biography on the man. I'm not minimizing his importance, but I would be very surrpised if one couldn't write an article about the village at least this long, discussing its history, demographics etc., without once mentioning the author. -- llywrch (talk) 17:32, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Wait! My mistake -- I just noticed an extrenal link at the bottom to some workhouse riots in 1830. Too bad no one has thought to add an account to this article. -- llywrch (talk) 17:35, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
