Selim Shahid is a First class and List A cricketer from Bangladesh. He was born on 28th July 1970 in what is now Dhaka, Bangladesh and is a right handed batsman and off break bowler. Sometimes known by his nickname Alam, he appeared for Barisal Division in 2001/02. He played 6 matches for Bangladesh in the ICC trophy in 1993/94, before they attained Test status, and recorded a half century in that competition.
