Self-Made Maids is the 124th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team the Three Stooges. The trio made a total of 190 shorts for Columbia Pictures between 1934 and 1959.

- Self-Made Maids is one of two Stooge films that does not have a supporting cast. The other is 1958's Oil's Well That Ends Well.
- The boys all play themselves and a second character in drag, Moe plays himself and Moella, Larry plays himself and Larraine, and Shemp plays himself and Shempetta.
