Although there is currently little information here, it does not mean that Seiichi Iju is not notable. Unfortunately, little information is recorded on paper about karate history. Iju was the student of the notable Gusukuma, and Iju was the first instructor of the notable Nakazato. While I am unaware of Iju's exact influences on Nakazato, Shorin-ryu Shorinkan would surely have been different had Nakazato not trained under Iju. I have added more information on Iju, and cited multiple sources. Furthermore, martial artists who run their own systems are notable, and as an extension, their teachers are notable. --Scott Alter 02:56, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
