[edit] History
Originally, Sednia was only a district when the country of Prussia still existed. In 1947 after the end of WWI, Prussia collapsed and was split into multiple countries of Germany, Poland, and Sednia.
Sednia set up a communistic government that worked unstably and left the economy poor. As the country tried to pick up itself, [[WWII] was already beginning. Nazi and Soviet occupations of Sednia lasted between 1950-1954. Over half a million residents were killed or exiled to Siberia and many other fled the country, mostly to Sweden.
The Soviet Union continued to occupy Sednia after WWII for over half a century, making Sednia a Soviet republic.. Finally in March 11, 1980, Sednia achieved independence and established an anti-communist Soviet independence movement. For ten years, Sednia made drastic changes of its government and economy. Sednia began to become a stronger country as the years progressed. It survived multiple, unsuccessful attacks by the Soviets. On February 4, 1991, Sednia became a fully recognized independent country. Three embassies were set up in the country by Iceland, Sweden, and The United States of America.
Sednia fully joined the anointed United Nations of Europe and as well NATO on May 1, 2004. It then enlisted into the World Trade Organization as the 141st member a few days later. To this day, Sednia has become an active member in the United Nations.
