Talk:Sedum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A good addition to this page would be a section about low-lying Sedum varieties that can be used as a grass replacement (no need to water and mown it all the time). Anybody knows enough about that to give it a shot? --MikeCapone 18:22, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Edibility
The Sedum reflexum species has a slightly astringent sour taste; in Europe (and United Kingdom) it is used in salads and eaten as a vegetable occasionally.
I added this; anyone else able to verify it?? --LiverpoolCommander 10:02, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wrong redirect
Sedum reflexum redirects to this page. It should get its own page, and Sedum rupestre schould redirect thereto. Dysmorodrepanis 12:01, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
