[edit] Title

On the Turkish Wikipedia this article is called Sedefadası. Which name is more common? Khoikhoi 04:38, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Sedef Adasi, written seperately.. I have no idea why it was named as such in Turkish wiki.. Ada just means island.. However there are instances where they can be written together. Generally for princes' islands they are written together.. So I will try to have a closer look at this.. Interesting.. Baristarim 05:10, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
The reason is, if the first name is an adjective (Buyuk (big) etc), it is written together, if the first word is a simple noun (Kasik (spoon) etc), it is written seperately.. I moved the article in Turkish wiki.. Baristarim 05:17, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation. Also see my similar comment at Talk:Burgazada. Khoikhoi 05:29, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
