Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. It illustrates an educational article about Sydnee Steele, the author of the book
2. The book is important to the article, as the publication of the book was an important part of Ms. Steeles change of profession from entertainer to counselor
3. The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the book and the article section on the book and that part of Ms. Steele's life
4. It is a low resolution image, and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods.
5. The image is not used in such a way that a reader would be confused into believing that the article is written or authorized by the owner of the image
6. It is not replaceable with an uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value.
7. The image is only being used for informational purposes.
