[edit] Southern Cultural Centre vs South Carolina League of the South

Why was my original article changed to such an extent? The League of the South owns the property. The League of the South owns the Southern Cultural Centre! Is this an effort to blank out the SC League of the South from having ANYTHING to do with this artical?? Robert B. Hayes, the Director of the Southern Cultural Centre was moved into that position, from his former position as State Director of the SC League of the South! I have multiple print documents which prove that the SC LoS owns this property, and that the Southern Cultural Centre is just a BRANCH of that organisation. Being bold is one thing, but completely re-writing articles without even getting imput, and attempting to bury the truth is something else altogether. Also, the changed article says that the Confederate soldier was from Alabama. What proof is there of this? Citing from S.C.C. website: "From a newspaper account in a 1936 issue of the Abbeville Press and Banner it has been learned that an unknown Confederate soldier was buried on Secession Hill. An extensive search of the property was made and a circle of large rocks resembling a gravesite was found in the identified location." Now, how did this soldier go from "unknown" to being known as an Alabama soldier?? PROVIDE PROOF! I am tempted to revert the whole article, but to prevent a revert war, I will change the inacuracies only. My assertions will be backed up with facts. Carolinian 22:06, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
