Secret (Russian: Секрет) is a widely known Soviet and then Russian rock and roll band founded in 1982. Largely modeled after the Beatles, and styling themselves as a "Beat Quartet", Secret were prominent on the fledgling 1980s Soviet rock scene.

The original lineup ended in 1990 with the immigration to Israel of frontman Maxim Leonidov, but the band continued with different lineups without much success. The original lineup has reformed periodically for performances since 1997.

Many of the hits produced by Secret in the 1980s still receive a lot of airplay on Russian FM stations.[1]
