Second Life Times

The Second Life Times is a blog devoted to news from the online world of Second Life. It was founded in October 2005 by the company Cybersim Corporation, At the time, Cybersim was based within the world of The Sims Online.

The SL Times was started when the editor of the already-established Alphaville Times started to play Second Life. This was to expand Cybersim Corporation's Metaverse Times franchise to other games. Shortly after, the Alphaville Times lost all it's posts, and Cybersim Corporation decided to close it.
In January 2006, Cybersim Corporation was closed because the Second Life Times was its only operating division. Immediately after closing, a new company was created to operate the Times. It was called Times Publishing Online. Shortly afterward, the name was changed to Online Times Publishing. That name lasted a few months, and in March 2006, The name was changed one last time to Metaverse Media.
