• I started the article last month because I know he's one of the top prospects in Argentine football. Ive spent the last couple of days reverting edits slagging Tony Hibbert, mancs and comments about the falklands.

As for the transfer to liverpool, there have been rumours:

Eurosport Jan 10

Sky Sports Jan 10

Yahoo News Jan 10

but according to BDFA (database of Argentine football) he is still a Lanus player. [1]

He has been sold to Liverpool but the transfer will take place in June. Fache 13:41, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The whole kit and caboodle

Shouldn't this whole section be rewritten, as it includes a bunch of transfer speculation and information that isn't particularly interesting. I'll write up a little version of it and everyone can see what they think of it. It won't be long, but it should be more to-the-point. Isaiah 21:48, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

There, I rewrote the whole thing, basically, and made it a little more up-to-date with its references and cut out the discussion of which clubs he was linked to because it is unnecessary information. If anyone wants to add to it, or re-add as it may be, feel free (of course), but all the things I cut struck me as superfluous and overly-detailed when a more general (and more easily citable) version was possible.
