[edit] Cocker photo
Thanks for uploading the photo Image:000 12891.JPG. To use it on wikipedia, however, it needs to be labeled with its source (photographer, web site, etc.) and under what free-distribution license it's released (such as public domain, GFDL, etc.). See more info at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. Thanks. Elf | Talk 16:39, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
- You did a good job of getting the right tag on the photo. Thanks for taking the time and sorry I wasn't at my computer when you left me a message. Elf | Talk 23:47, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] stud book
Sorry, my internet connection slowed to a crawl and I gave up for a while--I'm being singularly unuseful to you, aren't I! The "Move" tab is the trick, if that wasn't already pointed out. Also the convention in wikipedia for external links is to put a section titled "External links" at the end and put the relevant link(s) there--e.g., the link to the FDSB that's currently attached to the first sentence of the article. Elf | Talk 20:40, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- I moved your question about kennel club vs registry for FDSB to Talk:Kennel club for a discussion there; more people will see the question and can clarify, I hope. Elf | Talk 02:42, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Redirects
On 29-Jan, you created a "soft" redirect from Boykin Spaniels to Boykin Spaniel. You should do a real redirect in cases like this. The instructions for how are at Wikipedia:Redirect. I've fixed this one, but if you need help in the future, let me know. Thanks! -- JLaTondre
