why is it there appears to not be a Stearns and Foster page?

[edit] Cooperative?
I see no evidence this was ever a cooperative enterprise, it appears he made a few patents and then purchased a company, leasing patents out to other markets. It may have been the latter action that someone confused with it being "cooperative" I think. I'll post this and wait for a response in a few days and take it out of the category if there is no objection from anyone ~ User:joel.a.davis 30 Dec 2007

- Considering it has been some time since I first brought up the issue of whether this could be considered a cooperative enterprise, so I will update the article accordingly since no one has any idea one way or another, it may be wise to err on the side of too little information.
