The sea creatures on the NBC television series, Surface, are a fictional species of unnamed mammalian vertebrate that suddenly appear in the Earth's oceans. They quickly begin to cause numerous human deaths and wreak havok for humanity, both geologically and economically, killing off entire populations of sea life and causing increased global warming.
