TODO: When a version of MediaWiki featuring this fix is live on en:, we should add opportunities to search Wikitionary et al, with the same search term(s). Pcb21 Pete 18:54, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] CHANGE
{{editprotected}} The search is so embarrassingly out of date!
Please change it to the exact code which is found at User:symode09/Search thanx
--talk to symode09's or Spread the love! 07:59, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- I think you want "Live Search" not "Windows Live". Other than that, what symode09 is basically asking for is an addition of a search link for Wiktionary – Gurch 12:28, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] External searches
Replace the recently removed: Search for "$1" on Google (results from Wikipedia only), Yahoo! (Wikipedia only), or Windows Live Search (Wikipedia only).
Search for "$1" on [http://www.google.com/search?q=$3 Google] ([http://www.google.com/custom?domains=en.wikipedia.org&q=$3&sitesearch=en.wikipedia.org results from Wikipedia only]), [http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=$3 Yahoo!] ([http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=$3+site%3Aen.wikipedia.org Wikipedia only]), or [http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=$3 Windows Live Search] ([http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=$3+site%3Aen.wikipedia.org Wikipedia only]). --Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 04:28, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please bring this up with User:Martinp23 (who removed the text in question); edit-wars are bad, even if carried out using admins via {{editprotected}}. --ais523 12:21, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
