[edit] Licensing

[edit] Fair use rationale

Though this image may be subject to copyright, it is believed that its use falls under fair use according to U.S. copyright laws because:

  1. An emblem can only exist in one design, and therefore cannot be replaced with an uncopyrighted or freely licensed alternative.
  2. Use of the emblem is restricted by law, and its use for educational purposes on the English Wikipedia is unlikely to affect the parties which own copyright to the image.
  3. The image itself is a primary subject of discussion in the article Bangkok.
