Tablet dedicated to the consecration of Samuel Seabury as the first American church bishop in the Anglican Communion near Marischal College of the University of Aberdeen, UK.

Inscription reads:

"THIS TABLET BY PERMISSION OF THE AUTHORITIES OF THIS UNIVERSITY ERECTED BY CHURCHMEN OF CONNECTICUT TO PRESERVE THE MEMORY OF THE PLACE IN LONG ACRE VERY NEAR THIS SPOT WHERE ON THE 14TH NOVEMBER 1784 SAMUEL SEABURY D.D. WAS CONSECRATED THE FIRST BISHOP OF THE CHURCH IN AMERICA"

Taken by myself on the 25th June 2007 in Aberdeen.
