What is significate about scutum in mytholgy and astrology.
- None whatsoever. Astrology only uses signs, which only have a weak connection to the zodiacal constellations, but Scutum is not zodiacal. Said: Rursus 20:00, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
I've seen this same constellation named "Scutum Sobieskii", for instance in the Observer's Book of Astronomy by Patrick Moore. That's a more direct translation of "Sobieski's Shield". Captain Pedant 20:25, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
