[edit] Hello
To start off, welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've been adding pronunciation guides to some biology-related articles. We generally use a standardized system for representing pronunciations, the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) in articles. The more common "pseudo-English" representations as you have added are often ambiguous and usually reflect the speaker's accent rather than an authoritative guide. See also the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (pronunciation). For now, I've removed the guide additions, though if you want to add IPA representations that would be great. Thanks. Why would you think a page about this European sport should follow American spelling conventions? El Ingles 20:31, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
