Scrabster Harbour

Scrabster Harbour is an important port of the Scottish fishing industry[1]. It is located in the North of Scotland at the Thurso Bay (aka Scrabster Bay).Scrabster is located on the North coast of Scotland, 1½ miles from Thurso, 22½ miles from Wick and 112 miles from Inverness.

There are several pubs and restaurants at Scrabster.

- The Northlink ferry (MV Hamnavoe) leaves from Scrabster regularly for Stromness in Orkney.
- In summer months, Smyril Line operates a weekly service to the Faroe Islands.
- Smyril Line started a service from Scrabster to Iceland in 2008.
