There used to be a Presbyterian Church called St Enochs across Collins St from where the Athenaeum Theatre is now. It seems this was demolished many, many years ago but it was there in 1875 as this picture shows [1]. Information is very scarce on this building but I was wondering if in fact this was the church demolished and replaced by Scots Church ? Andypasto 00:05, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

  • I've now found that they actually are separate churchs - St Enoch's being a breakaway congregation. Will add something about this if I can gather some more info. Andypasto 00:41, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
