Scott Roth

Scott Edward Roth (born June 3, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio) is a retired American professional basketball player. A fourth-round selection of the San Antonio Spurs in 1985, Roth played in 166 NBA games for three teams: Utah Jazz (1987-88), San Antonio (1988-89) and Minnesota Timberwolves (1989-90).

In 1989, Roth played for Bill Musselman in the NBA, when the latter became the first head coach of the Timberwolves. The 6-foot-8 forward played collegiately for the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1981-1985, averaging more than 18 points per game in his senior season.

In March 2007, Roth was named head coach of the Dominican Republic national basketball team. [1]In January 2008, he was named head coach of the Bakersfield Jam. [2]
