Scissor-switch technology (keyboard terminology)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scissor-switch technology is a type of computer keyboard, mainly used in laptops.

Scissor-switch technology does not use a rubber-plunger assembly like most other keyboards. Scissor-switch keyboards are normally responsive and crisp. These keyboards are generally quiet. Many users prefer these over normal PC keyboards because of the advantages of this technology.
