[Acronym] S.C.I.R.C. - Self Contained Internet Remote Camera - SCIRC technology was originally developed through a sponsored research partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology’s High Tech Incubator, Venture Creations and DigitalXtractions, inc. Fully portable and wireless, self-powered by battery or solar cell, an SCIRC enabled device captures real-time images and video from any remote location and transmits them via cellular technology for “live” viewing on any device with Web access -- including computers, PDAs and cell phones.
