[edit] SIGARMS info

I added a bit of information about SIG products, only to realize that the information is all available (along with much more) at the SIGARMS entry. I propose to modify this Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft article to simply redirect to the SIGARMS entry. User:DickClarkMises 17:29, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

The article was mostly about firearms, which isn't even a part of SIG anymore (but a separate company "Swiss Arms" since 2000). I rewrote the article mostly with information from the German SIG article, and split it up into the three main business fields in which SIG has been active during its history. Today, SIG concentrates on the packaging sector, having split off railways to Fiat - then to Alstom - and firearms to Swiss Arms. --84.115.129.76 08:36, 10 April 2006 (UTC) (tobias b köhler)
