The translation is from the UK site, and I think the translator took some liberties with the meaning in order to make it rhyme. Any fluent German speakers out there want to take a stab at a faithful translation? MFNickster 03:47, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm reading Faust right now, and the Schnappi line "Ich schnapp mir was ich schnappen kann" reminds me a lot of this line from Walpurgis Night's Dream: "Er schnopert, was er schnopern kann" Any conjecture.
