[edit] Diagnostic criteria

With regard to the discussion at Talk:Narcissistic personality disorder#No permission to reprint DSM critera, I've removed the cut-and-pasted diagnostic criteria from this page as copyright violations. Those responsible for the DSM-IV, at any rate, have refused us permission to quote them. The excised text appears at the links in the references section. Vashti 02:53, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DSM4 or ICD10 names?

Wikipedia is based in the US, so it uses the DSM-IV names for things, not the ICD10 names. I've reverted and moved the page back. Vashti 06:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

No we don't have a use US names policy. We use the most common name. See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#National_varieties_of_English amongst other things. Secretlondon 15:44, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Sob, and it seemed like such a good theory. I'm pretty certain this is still the most common name, though. Vashti 19:48, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Link to Schizophrenia?

What, if any, link is there between Schizotypal personality disorder and Schizophrenia? 24.107.65.232 (talk) 04:17, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

They're on a continuum, with schizophrenia being severe and StPD being moderate. However, this isn't a discussion page. Vashti (talk) 09:56, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
