Schuttberg

Schuttberg (debris mountain) is a German term for a mound made of rubble or out of a rubbish heap. Many were amassed following the extensive strategic bombing of World War II. These types are more specifically termed trümmerberg (rubble mountain) and are known colloquially by various namesakes such as Mont Klamott (Mount Rag), Monte Scherbelino (Mount Shard), and Scherbelberg (Shard Mountain). Most every major city in Germany has at least one Schuttberg.

Silberbuck is locatet in recreation area Dutzendteich and former Reichsparteitagsgelände. On base of the disposal the Silbersee is located. This Lake is contaminated with various poison matters. Swimming in the see is prohibited, although about 50 people lost there lives since end of WW II in the water.
