Schumann PLL

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schumann PLL is an analog harmonizer effect pedal, normally used with an electric guitar. It creates two oscillating signals and allows a seemingly endless array of customizing options. It was designed and hand built by John Schumann. It sold new at Main Drag Music in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for $500 until 2005. It was available with an array of add-on effects, such as a Drone generator and a momentary "activation" footswitch.

Though John no longer has ties to Main Drag Music, he now sells pedals through his web site. Bands currently using Schumann pedals include:

  • Enon
  • lumière des dieux
