Schon Productions

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Schon Productions was a rock 'n roll promotion company started by Jim Peterson and Randy Levy. The company was based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Schon famously promoted numerous bands at the height of the rock 'n roll era, from the Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath, to John Denver and Aerosmith.

Schon was one of the largest concert promoters in the Midwest for a number of years, and with Peterson's and Levy's combined expertise, it was also one of the most successful.

Peterson left the company in the late 1980s and directed his focus toward his production company, Mid-America Festivals. Levy is still in the business and has had great success with his outdoor country music festival WE Fest among other endeavors.
