Schizogyne is a plant genus in the family Asteraceae named under the authority of Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg ex Ferdinand Albin Pax and is also synonym of the Euphorbiaceae genus Acalypha named under the authority of Carolus Linnaeus.[2]
