Schillaci Stakes

The Schillaci Stakes is a Group 2 Australian thoroughbred horse race held under open weight for age conditions, for horses aged 3 years old and upwards, over a distance of 1000m. It is held at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne during October.
Previously know as the ‘Chirnside Stakes’ it was re-named in 2000 in honour of the former champion sprinter Schillaci.
