From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Schedules Direct is a non-profit organization that provides a television program listing service for a small fee, presently $20/year.[1] It was created by developers from several different F/OSS projects including, XMLTV , GB-PVR, and MythTV in response to Zap2It's decision to shutdown its Data Direct program listing service to MythTV users as of September 1, 2007.[2] TV program listings are primarily used by digital video recorder software to display an on-screen electronic program guide. Schedules Direct states they are primarily interested in providing low-cost television program listings to users of open source and freeware applications.
