Schönau am Königsee is a municipality in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria in Germany. The town is within vicinity of Königssee (King Lake in (German)).
It is home to a bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track that is the oldest permanent track in the world, having been constructed in 1968.
