- Das Bild zeigt den Nord-West-Flügel des Schloss Hückeswagen im Jahr 1912. Links nach hinten versetzt sieht man den so genannten „Schelmenturm“, der früher mit 23 Metern bedeutend höher war. Im Jahr 2005 war in den Gebäuden des Schlosses ein Teil der Stadtverwaltung von Hückeswagen sowie das städtische Heimatmuseum untergebracht. Das Gemäuer am äußersten linken Bildrand stammt von der unmittelbar angrenzenden Pauluskirche. Das Bild ist auf einer Postkarte veröffentlicht worden. Sie trug den Titel „Bergische Burgen und Ruinen, Serie I. – Schloss in Hückeswagen“. Diese wurde im Jahr 1912 vom Verlag Wilhelm Fülle (damals „Kunstanstalt“) aus Barmen (heute ein Stadtteil von Wuppertal) mit der Nummer 20514 veröffentlicht.

- This picture shows the north-west-wing from the palace "Schloss Hueckeswagen" in 1912. On the left side behind the main building you can see a tower called "Schelmenturm". In the past it was 23 metres high, much more higher as today. In teh year 2005 a part of the administration of the city Hückeswagen and a museum of local history are located in the buildung. The walls on the left edge of this image are the ones of a church, which is called "Pauluskirche". The photo was published in 1912 as a postcard with the headline: "Castle and ruins from the region Bergisches Land, serial one - Palace in Hueckeswagen". In 1912 this postcard was published by the publishing house Wilhelm Fülle in Barmen (today a part of the city Wuppertal). The number of the postcard is 20514.
