[edit] Summary

Scaloppine with red and yellow bell peppers. The scaloppine is probably made with veal.

The bell peppers are prepared according to the recipe in Ms. Ada Boni's Talismano della felicità: the peppers are cut in strips, a sliced onion and 1-2 whole cloves of garlic are put on the fire with a pinch of salt and a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. After cooking over a low fire, adding water if needed, the dish is completed with a splash of wine vinegar, which is cooked until the alchohol and acetic acid are completely evaporated (about 5 minutes) and can be served hot or at room temperature.

Hello, I'm one of the thousands of volunteer editors at the English-language Wikipedia, where I write articles about various cuisine topics. I just came across your very nice photo of the dish "scaloppine" ( www.flickr.com/photos/realityfood/333907609/ ) and I see that we don't yet have a photo of this food at the Wikipedia article about it.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaloppine

I wonder if you might consider allowing your photo to be uploaded to that Wikipedia article, as the representative photo for this dish. I think it would serve a great educational purpose.

As per Wikipedia's policies, the photo would need to be released under a "free" license such as the Creative Commons, meaning that the photo could be reused by anyone for any reason (including educational, commercial, or any other use), although it would be specified that credit is given to you and a link made to your Flickr page. Wikipedia is now the eighth most visited website in the world, so you'd probably get a lot of views.

Would you please let me know if this would be okay with you?

Thank you, and all the best,

--

You are welcome to use the pic to illustrate the article. Please, send me the Wiki page address so that I can check it ^_^. Also, I have added the English recipe I used for those scaloppine (no portions since I make them eyeballing amounts), you are welcome to add it too if you want.
