The weather in Sawiri is stunning, especially in the Summer. Its location between two mountains and its elevation of 1400 metres above sea level give it cool dewy mornings in the Summer and breezy afternoons.

Sawiri is very close to Anjar and Baalbeck where ancient history can be seen in the Roman and Omayad ruins.
