Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. -- Avi (talk) 18:45, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

The website you are quoting, http://tcprayer.bravehost.com/house1.htm, is not acceptable for wikipedia purposes, as it appears to fail our requirements for both verifiability and reliability. It is the organizational website of the Tabernacle Congregation of Prayer. Please review wikipedia's requirements for its sources, and I must point out to you that further disregard for wikipedia policies and guidelines may result in measures being taken to protect the project. May I suggest posting on various article talk pages and asking for other editors' feedback, instead of engaging in what seems to be edit warring or possible disruptive editing. Wikipedia works through a collaborative process based on core policies and guidelines, which all editors agree to be bound to when they edit. Please review these. Thank you. -- Avi (talk) 17:38, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- I am not disagreeing with you about the TCP's activities, but as it stands stands now, it fails wiki's policies on reliable and verifiable sources. Have they been published in any peer-reviewed journals? And even if so, please read WP:FRINGE, WP:UNDUE, and WP:SOAP. Wikipedia is not the venue for publishing new information, especially those that go against the vast majority of recognized sources. I'm sorry, but those are the policies. I would once again suggest reading up on the article sourcing policies and perhaps that would help you in finding appropriate material, should it exist. Thank you. -- Avi (talk) 19:08, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:03, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Firstly, please learn to sign your posts with four tildes such as ~~~~. Secondly, it is not *I* who am opposing you on ideological grounds. Rather, I am trying to ensure that the appropriate policies and guidelines are enforced. Remember, wikiepdia requires verifiability, not truth. I will suggest for the third time that your read the policies and guidelines that you yourself agreed to by virtue of the fact that you have posted here, and seek guidance on article or policy talk pages. Thank you. -- Avi (talk) 20:25, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
