Savage Hogg is a blues-rock duo consisting of Clinton Forry (guitar, bass, audio manipulation) and Mike Pfeifer (vocals, guitar, drums & percussion) from Minneapolis, MN.

Savage Hogg's first recording, the CP or DP EP was released in October 2005, featuring throbbing shots of sonic detachment such as Full Hogg and Tougher Than Wang Leather. This was followed up with the holiday CD single Savage Hogg's Savage Nogg, featuring two obtuse versions of the holiday classic Jingle Bells (Let's Think About Jingle Bells For A Minute). An underground cassette only release Cock Tales, surfaced sometime in 2006, featuring early Hogg recordings of Charles Rocket Blues, Hunting For Kitty, GTO, Waiting For The Train, as well as covers of Neil Young and Danzig. In late 2006, Savage Hogg released a second holiday ep, entitled Son of Savage Nogg, featuring 5 tracks including the guitar angst of That Icicle Will Poke Your Eye Out and the hypnotic organ motif of As The Snow Falls.

Savage Hogg released their full-length debut, Moonlight Through The Air, in March 2007. Moonlight features 12 tracks including songs Charles Rocket Blues, Star Parties, Brickhouse Mama, and the psychedelic 16 minute instrumental Slow Blues.
