Savage Henry is the title of a comic book series written and illustrated by Matt Howarth, and published by Rip Off Press.
The stories center around Savage Henry, lead guitarist of the "insect rock" band the Bulldaggers. Howarth regularly draws "guest appearances" by real world musicians in the comic book, including The Residents, Moby, Foetus, Hawkwind, and others.[1]
"Savage Henry" is also the name of:
- a "scag baron" (Heroin dealer) mentioned in passing in Hunter S. Thompson's novel Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas.
- a progressive rock band in Bellingham, WA [1].
- the front man of Savage Henry and the Infamous One Pounders, a Canadian shock rock band [2].
