[edit] Isanosaurus and Antetonitrus: the first Triassic sauropods discovered

The descriptions of Isanosaurus in 2000 and Antetonitrus in 2003 confirm that sauropods diverged from Thecodontosaurus along with the prosauropods. This shows that sauropods and prosauropods evolved from a common ancestor.
