for all those who like to fight over whether the area is called "palestine or "jerusalem", you've got to admit that he didn't study palestinian literature or the palestinian talmud.

You're a little confused over concepts. He was appointed to a position that referred to "Palestinian" because the geographical area at that time was called Palestine. Nothing to do with the Talmud Yerushalmi, although I'm sure a command of that Talmud would have been an important aspect of his work. --Dweller 10:42, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
This is a very very silly argument. The original statement above displays total ignorance of the history of the terms Yerushalmi, Palestininan, Talmudah shel-Qesariin etc.

This is still a very gushy head over the heels review. He need to be treated as part of the academic study of Rabbinics.
