The Satirical Muslim is Australia's only satire website run by Muslims. Established in 2006, the website provides commentary on contemporary politics and social issues through fake news, interviews and opinion pieces.
In the past, the site has parodied Osama Bin Laden's video messages, the interfaith movement, community politics, and religious extremism.
The site features a number of fictional authors such as Al al-Llama, Basboosa Bint Baklawa, Furshaat al-Asnaan, and Laymouna Soukhneh.
