Sathamba is a small village of Bayad taluka of Sabarkantha district in Gujarat state of India. It has approximately 15000 population.
Major source of income for families is agriculture. Quarry & Stone Crushing business is well grown around 15 km belt of village with more than 30 Quarry industries. Sathamba used to have well known functional Cotton Ginning & Pressing Factory few years before, which is now (2007) running with marginal profit following consecutive 4-5 years droughts.

Sathamba was a Princely state of Bombay before independence of India with Kingship of Thakore Shree Sursinjee and Thakore Shree Ratansinhji. State even had its own currency in form of aana and rupee, forms of Indian rupee
