If this is a disambiguation page (as it says at the bottom) then it doesn't really need the info. on how many girls are named Sara, etc. Also, on the "Sarah" disambiguation page, it has a link to this page as a variation spelling for the given name "Sarah," which is somewhat circular and confusing. There also seem to be some unnecessary links (Sarah Loftus?) Acantha1979 22:08, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Acantha
Is there a reference for "historic cornish..."? Acantha1979 23:00, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Acantha
Or a reference for "nearly every religion has a the name Sara"? Which religions? I know that it is an Arabic as well as Hebrew name, for example, but the Arabic form isn't specifically related to Islam in any way. Acantha1979 01:05, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Acantha
I've created the page Sara (disambiguation), and put much of this information on there (including needed citations): perhaps this page can just be for the given name "Sara" (usage data, etc...How much can you really write about a given name in an encyclopedia article?)Acantha1979 01:34, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Acantha
I have changed the page to reflect the usage of the word Sara as a given name; I'm not sure if it qualifies as an entry unto itself. Other uses are preserved under Sara (disambiguation). Acantha1979 02:27, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Acantha
I agree with Acantha, Sara doesn't deserve its own page. I've merged it with Sarah (female name). Nick 21:55, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
