The Sarsanghchalak is the paramount leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The five individuals who have held the post so far have been
- Keshav Baliram Hedgewar (1925-1940)
- Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar, called Guruji (1940-1973)
- Madhukar Dattatraya Deoras, called Balasaheb (1973-1993)
- Rajendra Singh, called Rajjubhaiya (1993-1998)
- Kuppamahalli Sitaramayya Sudarshan (1998-present)
