Sariosiyo

Sariosiyo district or Sariosiyo tumani(Cyrillic: Сариосиё тумани) is a district in Surxondaryo Province, Uzbekistan. Its capital is Sariosiyo town.
Sariosiyo was founded in September 29th, 1926. In 24 th of December 1962 it was added to Denau district and rebuilt in 1964, February 22. Total area is 3,930 sq. meter. Population is 180,500 (1996 statistics). There is one city (Sharghun) and one town (Sariosiyo) in the district. The center of the district Sariosiyo is located in 180 km distance north to Termiz.
